THE ANNUAL Southeastern Alumni POWWOW opened in Atlanta Friday, April 2, with a golf match in the afternoon at which first honors went to A. Pollack Boyd '22 of Chattanooga, Tenn. Other matches were Joe Lane '21 of Lookout Mountain and Von D. Oehmig '36 of Chattanooga; Dean L. K. Neidlinger '23 and S. C. Hayward '26 of Hanover; Henley Sturgess '17, Allan C. Gottschaldt 18lB, C. F. Palmer '18, P. F. McKenney '28. The match was refereed by Charles G. Milham '06, Alumni Councilor from Williamsburg, Virginia.

During the golf match visiting and local wives of alumni were conducted on a tour of Atlanta's historic points of interest by Mrs. Allan C. Gottschaldt, after which they were entertained at a cocktail party at her home.

Friday evening alumni, wives, and guests attended a dinner at the Capitol City Club at which Dean Neidlinger and Mr. Hayward were the principal speakers. At this meeting there were as guests principals of representative Atlanta high schools, parents and sons interested in Dartmouth. The Dartmouth Cup was presented to the coach of football, Selby Buck, and the captain of the 1936 football team, Marvin Pittman of Lanier High School in Macon, Georgia. Mose Ewing '13 led the singing of Dartmouth songs. Moving pictures of life at Dartmouth were enjoyed.

Saturday evening the POWWOW was climaxed with the traditional stag banquet. At this banquet the Alumni Association of Chattanooga was formed with Von D. Oehmig '36 as its first president.
