REPORTS FROM A few towns have been received, thus permitting a start on the "Dartmouth in Politics" movement, as suggested by the political science department. In addition to a survey (of sorts) on the various political leaders, the following information on political activities of Connecticut alumni has been forwarded to Prof. Richardson: New Britain: Republican—C. L. Sheldon '09, City Treasurer. Democratic—C. J. Coyle '28, City Corporation Counsel. Bridgeport: Republican—Mansfield D. Sprague '33 was recently named temporary clerk in the Common Pleas Court.

Various Meetings are reported throughout the state. Jack Storrs '18 was host to the Bridgeport unit October 14. The keg was emptied in record time. Discussions centered on football and policies regarding the Student Aid Fund. Stamford's joint meeting with Bridgeport at the Fountain Inn, Westport, has been advanced from October 29 to November 11. Frank Graham, Sports Editor of the New York Sun, speaker, along with another talk by Al Fusonie '28, by popular demand Stan Lonsdale '24, continued the customary Open House the night before the Yale game You all know about Bob Scott's '17 system in New Haven Living in Connecticut isn't half bad now.
