Every summer brings news of several weddings and this year is no different. Jay Emery and Marilyn Carmichael were married last June 7 in Miami and the newlyweds invite you to write or visit them at the 48th F.F.S., Langley Air Force Base, Va. David Horn was married to Judith Kormos on August 25 in San Francisco. The bride is a graduate of San Jose State where she received her teaching certificate. Dave received his C.P.A. from the State of California and is currently employed as a corporate comptroller.

Another wedding took place a few miles down the peninsula where Bruce Hasenkamp married Inta Macs on May 13 in Atherton. The Rev.David Schofield performed the ceremony for the Hasenkamps. Dave is vicar of St. Columbus Church and Retreat in Inverness. Bruce was elected to the national board of directors of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Fie is the assistant dean of the Stanford Law School and has set up residence in Menlo Park. Bruce has remained very active in Sig Ep affairs, having completed a two-year term as chairman of the Fraternity's Leadership, Education and Development Committee and several terms as a district governor in New York, New Jersey and California. Fie is a member of six Bar Associations and the Stanford Law Society.

Jim Reinhardt opened an architecture office in Honolulu last year and designed and built his own home in the same year. Jim is the editor of the Hawaii Architect magazine and was elected to the AIA Board for the coming year.

Morty Kondracke has been selected as the recipient of a Harvard University Nieman Fellowship and is now studying science, economics, and law as they relate to journalism at Cambridge University in England. Mort is the Washington correspondent for the ChicagoSun-Times. After Dartmouth, Mort served in Military Intelligence for three years before joining the Sun-Times. He was Springfield bureau chief before heading to Washington seven years ago. He covered the first session of the Watergate hearings before heading overseas. Mort and Millicent are the parents of two daughters.

It appears that many of the doctors in the Class are taking up residence in Florida these days. I didn't think that they'd let so many out-of-staters pass the Boards. First, there was Bruce Flashner as Flash moved down to Homestead. Then I received an announcement that Don Knapp has moved his practice of ophthalmology to St. Petersburg, and now I have a letter from AllanGreenberg who has moved his practice of ophthalmology to Miami. The Greenburgs were living in Southern New Jersey last year when they welcomed their third son, David Michael. Feeling that the temperate climate was not too conducive to baby girls, the Greenburgs took up residence in Hollywood. Allan has been in touch with other classmates in the area. He reports that Joel andSusan Martin live nearby with their three daughters. Joel is a urologist and has become a proficient golfer and tennis player. Neil Koreman is also an ophthalmologist and practices in Hiahleah. His wife Dorothy is a dermatologist and was very helpful to Allan and Hazel in making the move. The Koremans are the parents of two children.

Finally, I spoke with Seth Strickland recently and learned that he had left Mitchell, Hutchins and is now working for Wertheim & Co. Market conditions have not been exactly ideal lately but what goes down must go up, or something like that.

I was surprised as you to learn that Dartmouth lost to New Hampshire for the first time in history. Nevertheless, it should be an exciting Ivy race this year and I'm confident Jake will have his charges ready when the big games begin. Actually, the Ivy teams are at a big disadvantage because their early opponents start their seasons two weeks earlier. Almost all the other Ivies lost their first game too, which should give Jake some consolation. With Reunion coming up, we get better seats this fall. See you on the 50-yard line.
