The Secretary expects to spend the first Sunday in February with Aubrey C. Lewis (none other than our friend "Luce"). An account of this visit will be one of the features of the next issue of this MAGAZINE.
The president, the secretary, and the treasurer of the class of '94 held a semiofficial meeting at the Parker House on Tuesday, December 31. The auditor and class agent was invited, but he alleged he had an engagement with the president of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. The former president of that organization, Matt B. Jones, also alleged that he was kept away from this '94 meeting by the same telephone entanglement. Curly Bartlett's secretary was out, otherwise she would probably have reported that Curly was making merry at Palm Beach or some other Florida resort. Bud Lyon's secretary alleged that he was engaged in some kind of a conference outside the office. As a matter of fact he probably had hied himself to Peru, Vt., to celebrate New Year's.
No particular class business was transacted, at least none that can be given to the public at present. The treasurer reported that the treasury was more than flat, but the president didn't offer to put on another "concert" in order to alleviate this financial distress. The treasurer reported than he had had the best business year for quite a while, which of course may mean that he intends for a while to pay the class bills out of his own pocket!
