The December number of the U. S. Employment Service News contains an article Personnel Opportunity for CommunityLeadership by Professor Herman Feldman. An illustrated article on Slow Decay ofHemlock Bark by Professor Charles J. Lyon appears in the Journal of Forestry for January, 1936.

A third and revised edition of AmericanParties and Politics by Professor Harold Bruce has just been published by HenryHolt and Company. This latest edition contains additional chapters bringing the historical narrative up to the present time. The record and discussions of the present administration will undoubtedly prove of great interest to readers of this book.

The issue of the Far Eastern Survey for October 9 contains an article by Professor Lloyd P. Rice Philippine Copra and Coconut Oil in the American Market. This article appeared in full in a recent number of the Philippine Herald.

Since the Civil War by the late Professor Charles R. Lingley with revisions by Professor A. R. Foley '20 has been published by the Century Company. This will be reviewed in a later issue of the MAGAZINE.
