SNow Continues to fall on Hanover, although the permanent winter blanket is more than a foot in depth. And as the final echoes of Carnival die away, skiing goes on with renewed zest. Night after night the mercury dips down well below the zero mark, but continuous days of clear, dry weather provide an excellent setting for winter sports, and the new tramway out on Oak Hill does a steady, creaking business.

Carnival Queen Princess of Dartmouth for many years, Miss Ann Hopkins, lovely daughter of President Hopkins, was chosen Queen of the Snows at the 26th annual Winter Carnival. She is a freshman at Smith College.
