Before a gallery of more than 250 spectators, Miss Glenna Collett, national women's golf champion, paired with W. H. Taft 26 defeated J. M. Batchelder '26 and Tom Keene, professional at the Hanover Country Club, one up in a best-ball foursome at Hilton Field.

Batchelder and Keene won the first hole and halved the second. Taft won the third hole. On the sixth Miss Collett nearly holed out on her third, halving the hole with her opponents.

At the seventh Taft holed out from the edge of the green for a birdie three. He won the next and Keene won the ninth, making the score one up in favor of Miss Collett and Taft for the first nine holes.

The tenth hole was halved. Keene's ball stopped on the rim of the eleventh cup, halving the hole. Miss Collett and Taft won the twelfth, both taking threes. Keene's four won the thirteenth. The fourteenth was halved with threes. A birdie four by Taft won the fifteenth increasing the lead to two up. Batchelder and Keene reduced the lead to one up with fours on the sixteenth green. Miss Collett's three on the seventeenth split the hole. On the home green Miss Collett sank a tricky down-hill putt for a five, to halve the hole and win the match, one up.
