Maintaining its record of previous years, the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine received a blue ribbon award at a recent meeting of the American Alumni Council for its feature articles on "Forgotten Dartmouth Men." During the past two years several one-page articles describing the careers of graduates, famous in their day, have appeared in these pages. The stories have been edited by Paul S. Allen '26, reference librarian of the Baker Library. The blue ribbon was exhibited at the recent meeting of the Dartmouth Secretaries Association in Hanover.

Prizes awarded to the ALUMNI MAGAZINE in previous years have ranged from an embossed certificate and a bronze plaque to an inscribed billfold for the personal use of the editor. The bases of previous awards have included: best feature articles of any alumni magazine in the country, best class notes section, best make-up, and all-round excellence.
