Prentice Hall will publish in November a book on basketball by Dartmouth basketball mentor Alvin "Doggie" Julian. Entitled Bread and ButterBasketball, the 350-page book is of general interest to all who enjoy the sport. It describes in simple language and diagrams the fundamentals of the game.

Dartmouth football star Jake Crouthamel '60 is playing halfback for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League and scored a touchdown in an exhibition game with the Rams held in early September.

Station WCBS (New York) will broadcast the Dartmouth-Penn, Dartmouth-Harvard, and Dartmouth-Yale games as part of its fall sports series, the Ivy-Game-of-the-week. Station WLNH (Laconia, N. H.) is also covering all the Dartmouth games. Other Eastern stations may also broadcast one or more Dartmouth games and alumni are advised to check their local listings weekly. No Dartmouth game will be televised this fall.
