WINTER INTRAMURALS
MAY 1930 Craig Thorn, Jr.

The extensive program of winter intramurals came to a close immediately preceding the Easter recess. As in many other colleges this type of athletics in which a large percentage of the student body can take part seems to be removing some of the traditional glory of the varsity squads. We welcome this swing back to athletics built more on personal enjoyment. The intramural champions follow:

Basketball—College, Psi Upsilon; dormitory, Topliff.

Class track—1933; 1931 second.

Fraternity track—Sigma Chi; second,Theta Delta Chi.

Class gym 1933; second, 1932. Fraternity swimming Sigma Chi; second, Phi Kappa Psi. Fraternity handball KappaKappaKappa. College handball D. N. Marks '30, of New York.

Basketball foul shooting R. L. Veres '33, of Cleveland.

Fraternity bridge Zeta Psi; second, Beta Theta Pi.

Fraternity standings for this year's activities:

1, Phi Kappa Psi; 2, Sigma Chi; 3, Kappa Kappa Kappa.

Dormitory standings: 1, Topliff; 2, Eeed; 3, Middle Fayer; 4, Russell Sage; 5, Hitchcock.
