TRUE TO usual summer form, the table conversation at our regular Tuesday noon luncheons has ranged from reunion experiences in June through the merits, if any, of the Athletics baseball team in July, only to be forgotten in August in favor of the Congressional problems of F. D. R. Now, come September, assisted by a wealth of news source material supplied by the Athletic Council, King Football again reigns supreme.

In between times we have had two golf outings. On May 28, upon the invitation of Doc Sewell '99, and with rich memories of the pleasures of past years when Doc has been host, some 25 stalwarts journeyed to Bridgeton, N. J., for our Fourth Annual Cohansick Golf Club Frolic. This year's memories include Bill Pugh's '25 scintillating golf, particularly on the first fairway when a beautiful drive captivated the fancies of two passing motorists and precipitated a crash that effectively terminated the life of one brand new Ford. Memory Number Two is Dick Frame's '2B candid camera shot of Gordon Crouter '24 in the Locker Room, reported now to be in great demand by Bernarr MacFadden for one of his "Before—and—After" advertisements.

On July 20 Rolling Green Golf Club was the scene of a rendezvous for 30 of the boys, with Doc Sewell '99, Tony Ogden, Henry Frithian and Fred Spencer checking in from Bridgeton. Intramural sports which included bridge and poker wound up a highly enjoyable day, with everything run under the expert management of Roger Evans 'l6 and Ernie Wright '2B.
