Basil O'Connor 'l2, who gets his mail at 120 Broadway, New York, lacks an 'OB Aegis for his collection and wants to know where one can be bought, borrowed, or stolen. It's just possible somebody may have a spare copy or know where there is one. We are confident that all classmates who possess one copy of the class Aegis will mortgage the house, sell the car, kill and eat the family dog, before parting with the book. But if you have done all those things, and nobody will pay anything for your wife, you may be able to trade your Aegis for a few dollars, enough for one last bender before jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge.

lii mid-October news comes of the serious illness of Larry Griswold at his home in Batavia, N. Y. The information comes to your reporter via Hanover, and says Larry has been seriously ill. is somewhat better, but it will be some time before he is fully recovered.

Art Eberly, 'oB's pioneer oil man, reports a new address. He lives at 236 S. Terrace Drive in Wichita, Kansas, and his offices are in the Ellis Singleton Bldg., in the same city. He calls himself an oil operator. We understand that means he deals in wells, pipelines, and acreage leases; not the feller in Wichita who stands beside the red pump and says "fillerup?"

George Tyler is another who reports a new address, but still in Texas where men are men and the women are glad of.it. He is in the insurance business in Houston, and living.at 2445 Pine Valley Court. He hopes to be in Hanover next June. We all hope to.

Mort Hull writes that he has been in Europe "looking over Switzerland, France,Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and England." Sailed May 19 and returned late in the summer (he wouldn't want to miss the football games). He says his "lil' ol' cannonis rarin' to go, all loaded and ready for thereunion next June." And Mort hands in some suggestions about costumes (reunion) for the boys and girls. It's good to hear from Mort, and to get reunion suggestions from anybody.

String Hale and his wife started October 2 from their home in Concord, N. H., to make a tour of the West Coast. He expected to visit Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and way stations, and started out with a list of classmates he might get to see in distant states. String is a New Hampshire state forester, so we're warning western classmates to be on the watch for a very tall thin man with hemlock squills on his collar and burrs in his pants who would rather talk Dartmouth 'OB than eat lunch, though he might be persuaded to combine the two.

Albert Chandler called on your correspondent in October. He is on the faculty at Ohio State University, and had leave of absence from July to January. He has been spending the fall in New York, and at his farm in Canaan, Conn. His son is attending Vermont Academy, preparing to enter Dartmouth. Chandler will resume his teaching work at Columbus in the winter.

The 30th Reunion is next June. Most of the classmates will say that isn't news. But it's going to be. Just wanted to remind you at every opportunity, so you won't get your dates tangled.

And if the 'oBers want real news about other classmates all they've got to do is send in the raw material and we'll process it for the MAGAZINE. Manufacturing news without any facts is difficult.
