The fall football season has brought a few of the old standbys back to Hanover for the fall games, although the number has been less this year than heretofore. Maybe they are all saving up for the Cornell game. If there are enough 'tiers who are planning to return for the Cornell game in Havover on November 13 and they are interested in having any kind of a get-together, the Secretary will be happy to see if he can make any arrangements. At any rate, if those who are planning to come will drop him a line, it might make it possible to plan a little party of some sort. Suggestions are awaited, but remember the game will be soon after you will have received this magazine, so conduct yourselves accordingly.

It is now easy to see why "Cap" Hedges enjoys officiating at the football games. First comes a letter saying: "Coleen andSam are driving to Seattle, leaving herenext Monday or Tuesday. I am going outby train October 19. After the lowa-Washington game, Coleen and I will return, driving to Lincoln so as to reach there bySaturday, October 2, where I have theNebraska-Minnesota game. Sam, of course, will remain at the University of Washington, where he is entering his sophomoreyear." This was followed by another letter which stated: "Coleen and I are returningfrom lowa-Washington game in Seattle bymotor. On our way to Lincoln for Nebraska-Minnesota game; 1200 miles moreto go. The fishing is 100% in this country." Here follows "Cap's" 1937 football schedule: Sept. 25 lowa-Washington at Seattle. Oct. 2 Minnesota-Nebraska at Lincoln. Oct. 8 Grinnell-Creighton at Omaha. Oct. 9 Notre Dame-Illinois at Champaign. Oct. 23 Creighton-Kansas State at Omaha. Oct. 29 Grinnell-Drake at Des Moines. Oct. 30 Indiana-Nebraska at Lincoln. Nov. 6 Notre Dame-Pittsburgh at South Bend. Nov. 12 Coe-Grinnell at Grinnell. Nov. 13 Northwestern-Minnesota at Minneapolis. Nov. 20 lowa-Nebraska at Lincoln. Nov. 27 Notre Dame-Southern California at South Bend.

If there are any other good games that he isn't going to be present at, it must be because there's a conflict somewhere.

After all, the life of a Navy man isn't too bad. Here's our old pal, Larry Odlin, now Commander Odlin, who has just been stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he is disbursing officer at the Navy Yard.

Somebody has had better luck than the Secretary has, for finally Bob Morrill's address card has come back, giving the information that he is located in Portland, Me., and that his office is Room 706, Fidelity Building.

The Secretary is about to have the pleasure of having the second son of a classmate in his class in Tuck School. The first was "Slim" Eaton's son, Edward, who incidentally was one of the best students in Tuck School last year; the second is to be John Uline, whose old man, Herbert, moved last spring to Pittsburgh from Kansas City. He is now merchandise manager of Boggs & Buhl, Pittsburgh's aristocratic department store, The Ulines are living at 1369 Washington Avenue, Mount Lebanon, Pa.

Les Waldron's new position was referred to last month. Now we are able to give you his address, which is: 153 Westmoreland Ave., Greensburg, Pa.

There has just been received an announcement which will be of interest to all members of the class: "Mr. WilliamMyron Keck and Mrs. John James Troyannounce their marriage on Thursday, thesixteenth of September, one thousand, nine hundred and thirty-seven, at the Cathedral of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Reno,Nevada."

The enrollment of 1911 sons in the incoming freshman class continues at about the same rate. This year finds the following men signed up as members of 1941: Ed Chamberlin's son, David; "Slim" Eaton's boy, Fred; Hugh Kenworthy Jr.; Jackson, son of Howard Morton; young Dick Paul; and Mert Wilson's boy, Carr.
