During Art Stockdale's tenure of office as class secretary the class notes bristled with such items as, "Miss Wellesley announces her engagement to Joe Twenty," and a few issues afterwards there would be an item stating that Miss Wellesley was now Mrs. Twenty, Al Cate took over the job in 1925, and he used considerable space proclaiming the births of the Twenty children. This issue starts a new type of item, the Twentys are now sending their children to Dartmouth. Enrolled in the class of 1941 are Porte Dunkee's scion, William III, and Ralph Koelb's son, Clayton.

Ed. Bo wen crashed through with the following:

"Tried, and true Satevepost readers musthave certainly noticed in the Octoberissue the physiognomy of our own 'Bud'Phillips on the cricket fields in Java. Thatmustachioed gentlemen in shorts, whomwe all remember particularly as a footballperson of potentialites, was not at the timeof the picture, actually engaged in playingthe famous British game, but was demonstrating to English and Dutch friends ourown national pastime. The accompanyingarticle, devoted chiefly to the pursuits ofone Mr. Mooney, the dynamic and tirelessexport manager of G. M. Corporation, gives some insight into Bud's life and position as General Motors Far-Eastern regional representative. Incidentally, Bostonmen may remember that Bud and BobHight '22 married comely sisters."

Just as these Notes were being typed the following arrived from Paul Richter:

"Local news of late is not very exciting. Let me see if I can pass on anything that you have not yet heard and which might be interesting for the Twenty column in the MAGAZINE.

"Only 17 members of the class turned up this year for the alumni round up on the night before the Harvard game. Fred Buschmann came in from Westfield and Warrie Chamberlain from New York. All the others were from the Boston aVea—usual list. Here they are as I remember them; Eaton, McGoughran, Lee, Macomber, Thomson, Moulton, Dorney, Harvey, Elliott, Sunergren, Roland, Dean, Merritt, Calhoun, and yours truly.

"I hear that Lee Hodgkins, wife, and family had a bad scare and narrow escape when a boiler exploded in the house next to their apartment in Manchester a couple of months ago. As it was, no one was hurt, but one end of their house was badly damaged.

"Scout Lee is spending his week-ends in Nashua with great regularity. Only one answer to that—yes, it's Anne, and as Scout is expecting to get his C. P. A. this year they will await the robins' return before tying the knot.

"Charlie McGoughran is headquartering in Boston, but is never seen here. He is 011° the road all over New England for Sinclair Refining.

"Bing Dean showed up for the first time in many years at a class party. He is with J.S. Bache in Boston. Just another broker boosting for a bull market."
