DARTMOUTH ACTIVITIES in Connecticut recently have not been confined solely to the episode of October 30 in the stadium-packed "stamping-grounds" of Eli football and to the resulting post-mortem by gentlemen of the Green with high blood pressure. Both before and after that dizzy afternoon the several Connecticut Clubs have assembled, according to reports, with a variety of interesting programs.

October 28 seems to have been the "green" letter day because Hartford, New Haven and Waterbury held forth at that time.

At Hartford "Mutt" Ray, unfamiliar in full-length sleeves gave a bang-up talk on football and fifty of the loyal turned out at the Hartford Golf Club for the occasion. Election of officers was held and the successful were Charlie Rice '23 erstwhile secretary, president; Wilson C. Blake '23, vice president; and John M. Mullin '15, secretary-treasurer. Best wishes from all Connecticut alumni.

New Haven, a rejuvenated outfit, held a fine meeting on the same night with Harry Hillman discoursing on things in general in Hanover. Whitey Fuller, Director of Athletic Publicity, an unexpected but very welcome guest, spoke on this year's pigskin outlook. Parts of the film "Life at Dartmouth" were received enthusiastically by twenty-nine paying customers, several guests and "brief visitors." Congratulations to New Haven's new officers on a fine job done.

Waterbury, after a meeting on September 23, again made the welkin ring at a big turn-out at the Colonial Room of the Hotel Elton on October 28. Football predominated with movies providing the background.

On November 3, Ev. Robie, Hal Rider at als put on another "varieties" program before fifty-five Alumni of Western Connecticut, aided and abetted by some of the Bridgeport faithful. Music predominated, with solo selections by Robie on a trombone providing the high note. All and all it was a jolly good evening.
