GOMES NOW the report from two annual meetings. One is belated, the other is newly hatched. The former occurred in Hartford on Tues. evening, Dec. 20, at the Hartford Golf Club. A banner crowd of 110 turned out and enthusiasm reached a new high. Charlie Rice '23, was re-elected Pres., Malvern J. Mather '29 was made Vice Pres. and Francis T. Fenn '37 was elected Sec.-Treas. to take the place of John Mullin '15 who was forced to turn in his suit before his term was up because of the press of business. Not reported in the last issue was the extremely interesting occurrence of campus reminiscing of long ago by two of Connecticut's revered oldsters Frank C. Hill '76 and Maurice Sherman '94.

On Feb. 8, the Bridgeport Club met at the home of Jack Storrs '18, an annual custom for the annual meeting, the following were elected, officers, Doctor Paul Harper '26 Pres., William Haist '34 Vice Pres. and Ed Spargo '24 re-elected Sec. A new office, that of treasurer, was created which Art Conley '16 will fill. The main item of business was to discuss the program for the coming year and to formulate plans for the State meeting to be held at Bridgeport in May. The meeting was well attended and Harold White entertained, with piano and his latest toy—an accordion.

That human dynamo Ev. Robie of Stamford was loose again and is heralding far and wide the coming to Stamford, its initial visit, of the Dartmouth Glee Club and Barbary Coast Orchestra for a concert and dance on March 30. Tickets are priced at a new low and the drive is under way with Robie at the helm, which assures success. To all and sundry who read this column call Robie for tickets and let's put this event over for the young and very much up-and-coming Stamford Club and especially for its inspiration, the aforementioned Robie. An usually attractive party for all alumni and friends within flying distance of Stamford is forecast.
