Suggestions for Children's Christmas Books
As MANY ALUMNI have small children, I L asked Mrs. Marjory Lord Packard, an authority on children's books, to suggest a list of the best books suitable for children of all ages. Her list follows.

Mother Goose rhymes with lovely pictures intriguing to small children.
Milne, A. A.: Winnie-the-Pooh, Dutton, $1.00. (4-8).
The adventures of "Silly old bear" can be read innumerable times, and still seem pretty amusing to Mother or Daddy, as well as uproariously funny to Junior. Petersham, Maude and Miska: TheChrist Child, Doubleday, $2.00. (4-8). Colored illustrations accompanied by the familiar words from the King James version of the gospels. A beautiful book loved by children.
