The 1937 Aegis, the first volume of the traditional year-book to be published under College auspices, will appear in a standard edition selling at $5.50, it has been announced. For an additional fifty cents the name of the subscriber will be printed on the cover of the book.
The forthcoming volume will continue the trend of recent years of making the Aegis a rounded review of the college year rather than a.mere senior class-book. Under the direction of Vrest Or ton, who designed the new Dartmouth College Bulletin series, emphasis will be placed upon improved printing, binding and engraving. Special features will include a color plate of President Hopkins, a gravure view section, an aerial panorama of the College for end papers, and a dozen pages of candid-camera shots of faculty members, undergraduates, and student activities.
Alumni subscriptions to the 1937 Aegis can be made by writing to Gilbert R. Reynolds, business manager, Hanover, N. H.
