Deane has sent the Secretary an account of the exercises in dedication on November 2 of Cushing Memorial Town Hall at Norwell, Mass., at which as chairman of the selectmen it was his duty to make the formal acceptance. The oldest survivor of the class, he has clearly by no means retired from active life, and expresses his intention to be present at our 6oth anniversary next June.
Members of the class will not fail to read with pleasure the account of Field and his family in the '78 class notes. Field's two years with '77 gave him a warm place in our affection, and we hereby urge him to come on and participate in said 60th reunion.
Secretary, Chelsea, Vt.
