Class of 1928

Jack Phelan reports a big meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Bos- ton at the Copley Plaza the other day, and says that Twenty-eight did all right. Quite a few of the boys got dressed up and watched Larry Martin being transferred from treasurer of the Association to vicepresident, Don Norris being tagged with the treasurer's job, and Rupe Thompson signing on for another year as '28's representative on the Executive Council.

Chuck Bruder, El wood Drake, Jeff Glendinning, John Gulian, Jack Kenerson, Larry Martin, Don Norris, Jack Phelan, Howie Rogers, Dick Welch, Gene Magenis, Fred Cheever, Rupe Thompson.

Jack says Chuck Bruder is now living in Boston at 501 Beacon St., and alleges that Chuck is sales supervisor for Singer Sewing Machine Company. Fred Cheever, I seem to remember, is advertising manager for Pepperell Mfg. Co.—a fine old company, Pepperell, and they make good sheets.

Allen Lathrop is in the St. Louis division of Curtiss-Wright Corp Sam Dennis is another smart guy who is working for the government. Sam is an economist for the Central Statistical Board in the Commerce Building at Washington. .... Harvey Fisher is living on East 38th St., New York, and works for Dunn and Bradstreet, Inc Gordon Graham is singing regularly over WMCA, New York City Byron Schaff specializes in oil investments at Shreveport, La Tavey Taylor is in the accounting business at Oakland, Calif Ken Graf still grapples with the law—practices, I meanin Manchester, N. H Johnny Cook is mixed up in some way with the sale of telephones for A. T. & T. in Chicago. Bernie O'Keeffe is in the chain grocery business in Boston Abe Grogins is manager and secretary of Greenwich Supply, Inc., at Greenwich, Conn Bill Mcßoberts gets along nicely in the florist business, Detroit Lakes, Minn Vic Hartjens sells for Universal Electric Co-, Stamford, Conn Paul Rudman is in the insurance department of the Federal Land Bank at Springfield, Mass. .... Harry Philbrick is with R. H. Stearns Co. of Boston.
