My long distance phone bill next month will reflect the sad fact that none of you wrote. Nonetheless, I reached out and touched some of you.
John Naitove's answering machine told me that he is selling (or perhaps buying) a motorcycle. The computer printout I have told me that he is president of Petrucelli Associates, a filmmaking outfit. Unfortunately, John himself told me nothing since I could not get hold of him.
I fared better with A1 Petersen. A1 is a manager at the Covington Restaurant in Armonk, N.Y.A1 also does his share of bartending (engineer, libation) which is one of the few vocational offerings in the Dartmouth curriculum. Giff Foley has been known to drop in, and A1 would love to see other classmates. The restaurant serves nouvelle cuisine and is a microchip's throw from IBM World Headquarters.
Max Davis is associate general counsel for the Centel Corporation in Chicago. Centel is a telecommunications company which owns phone and cable TV companies throughout the country. Max graduated from Harvard Law in 1972 and lives in Evanston, 111., where his wife Beth is an alderman (alderperson?). Max has two kids, Mike, four, and Chris, one. Max says he would like to hear from Dave Jeffery and Dan Sorenson, both '68s.
Next week I am going to Hanover for the Harvard game. That should provide me with enough information for the next several columns. Take care and write.
