THE ST. LOUIS alumni celebrated Dartmouth Night on February 26 with a smoker, which was held at the home of Frank Cornwell '35. Due to the occasion there was a fine, above average, turnout. The high spot of the evening was, of course, the broadcast of the Dartmouth program from Webster Hall. No official business was discussed, that being reserved for the next smoker which will be held on Monday, March 15, at the home of Hugh Logan '34.

The Saturday luncheons are continuing each week at the Hotel Mark Twain. We have a regular attendance by a large number of our membership. There is plenty of room for extra plates for visiting alumni.

We are looking forward to the spring season with plans on foot for picnics in the Hanover tradition, which we hold each year in an increasing number. The first Sunday of March found a few enthusiasts in a game of softball, much to their dismay the following Monday. On the whole the game was a great success, and has a good chance of growing into a regular workout.

Our annual dinner will be held April 5, at a place yet to be chosen. We are looking forward with great pleasure to having Prof. William H. McCarter '19, Director of Athletics, as our speaker.
