CLASS OF 1897

Dr. Henry M. Chase, for some years assistant surgeon at the Boston Dispensary, has been promoted to be one of the two surgeons. in charge of the surgical department of the institution, succeeding Dr. Benjamin Tenney '83, who retires at his own request. The two surgeons will have full charge of the surgical department, which treats annually about 3500 cases, and will also have charge of the surgical ward in the Boston Dispensary Hospital for Children. Each surgeon, with his staff of assistants, is on active duty for six months of the year.
