The 150th anniversary of the founding of the Dartmouth chapter of Phi Beta Kappa will be celebrated in Hanover on the afternoon and evening of October 11. At that time there will be a meeting for members of the national scholastic fraternity, at which members elected to honorary, alumni and undergraduate membership will be initiated. Following this exercise there will be a public meeting at which a speaker of national repute will give an address. In the evening there will be held a banquet for members of the society at which President Hopkins will serve as toastmaster, and several distinguished guests will speak.

All chapters of Phi Beta Kappa will be invited to send delegates to Hanover in honor of the occasion. Dartmouth alumni members of the society will be welcome to attend the exercises. Those wishing to reserve places at the banquet should notify Harold G. Rugg, secretary, during September.
