AT OUR LAST MEETING the Secretary, just returned from the Secretaries' Meeting in Hanover, gave an account of that gathering and attempted to impart to the members some of his enthusiasm, freshly augmented by contact with many Dartmouth friends, old and new, ranging all the way from the Class of 1871 to that of 194l. Officers were elected for the coming year: president, F. Jordan McCarthy '26; Ist vice president, Robert C. Hazard '29; vice president, in charge of programs, entertainment and arrangements, Mercer R. Bowers '24; treasurer, Chauncey H. Colton '35; secretary, Harold R. Hastings 'OO. Mr. Benjamin F. Kenney, father of Dick Kenney '40, is an enthusiastic Dartmouth supporter and one of our most valued members. He was honored by election to the new office of Official Dartmouth Father. Finally there was an informal discussion of plans for next season, with a forward look to the DartmouthNavy football game to be played here in 1939. In the freshman class this fall we expect to be well represented by six boys from five different schools.
