CONTRIBUTIONS to the memorial fund honoring the late Dean William R. Gray '04 of Tuck School totaled $8,591.15 on October 15, it was disclosed by Albert W. Frey '20, executive secretary of the fund committee. This sum was contributed by 370 Tuck School students, faculty members, trustees, and friends of Dean Gray. To date 212 second-year Tuck men have given §5,266, while 134 first-year men have given $1,579.50, and 24 others have given $1,745.65. Further contributions are being solicited by the fund committee, which is under the chairmanship of Victor M. Cutter '03, and gifts may be sent to Professor Frey at the Tuck School.

The memorial fund will be used to provide financial aid for deserving Tuck School students. The first scholarship based upon the fund was awarded this year to Albert J. Hawkes '38, second-year Tuck student from Arlington, Mass., and amounted to $250. In addition to this annual award to a second-year man it is planned to use the William R. Gray Memorial Fund for student loans.
