The January letter from Arthur Fairbanks reported Bessie to be little, if any, better.
Both from Gil's grandson, Carlton P. Frost, who is at an academy here in Montdair, and from Bettie Frost Larson in Hanover, I have word that Gil's son, Carlton, is home from the hospital and gaining so much that Gil and Mrs. Frost have returned to Hanover. Carlton P. Jr. was reveling in the prospect of a trip to Hanover for the Winter Carnival.
Pete sent me a photograph of Grandfather Pete at work on one of Grandfather's clocks. I wish everybody could see this picture of our artist absorbed in his work.
Tommy Harris writes from Hotel Reforma in Mexico City, telling of "one dayafter another of sunshine a?id blue sky, nodampness. Mrs. Harris and I spend ourdays outdoors in spite of zero weather inNew York and New England."
