Due to the timing of our publishing deadlines, rather than being able to tell of a successful fall Smoker, we can only do some hopeful crystal-balling at this writing. The date for the affair was set as October 25 in the Hotel Suburban, East Orange, with plans for having as guest Irving T. Marsh of the Herald Trib's sports staff, in a discussion of our pet subject, Ivy League Sports.

The Princeton game this year is November 19 and because of various suggestions received, some thought has been given to our group working up a Dartmouth get-together following the game. By the time this gets into print, many will have already made plans to be at Palmer Stadium. If anyone who plans to see the game is interested in meeting other Dartmouths at some central locale, please get in touch with our secretary (see above) for the latest word on the plans.
