Yes, sir! There will be a circus parade in Hanover on the afternoon of June 18, 1938. It has not been decided as yet who will be the front and rear end of the elephant nor who will be the bareback rider in tights, but applications for both positions are open. The class of 1923 has been responsible for several of Hanover's best parades in the past, but if present plans materialize, they will all be eclipsed by the stupendous and colossal circus parade planned for that afternoon.
Sid Flanigan and I went into a huddle at lunch one day last week, and he was set to work at the job of composing special and appropriate verses for the theme song, which shall be "The Man on the Flying Trapeze." If you do not know the tune to that song, better do a little rehearsing, because each and every one of you will be supplied with a kazoo. This novel instrument requires no musical ability, but it is really better to know the tune if good results are expected.
The Side-Show following the Circus Parade will be under the skillful production of Horace Taylor, and those of you who attended the 10th will need no further recommendation than that. Horace has already submitted a sketch of what he expects the boys will look like at the "Frightful 15th," and at the appropiate time this sketch will be presented to the class.
Sherm Baldwin, running true to form in gathering news from New England, submits a newspaper picture of F. Paul (Doc) Morgan, which appeared in the Boston Sunday Herald. It seems that Paul was formerly one of the hired hands for the Henry W. Savage Cos., but has recently been promoted to the position of vice president of the Clifford V. Miller Cos. There is no doubt about that's being a decided promotion, and congratulations are extended herewith.
Another newspaper clipping displayed the picture of Dr. Henry W. Hudson Jr., surrounded by others prominent in the medical profession. Henry Hudson was in Worcester as the guest speaker at a meeting of the Tufts Medical Alumni Club. He has become an authority in his field, and is connected with the Harvard Medical School and the Children's Hospital of Boston.
A letter from Ward Hilton states that he and others in Chicago are making plans to be in Hanover next June. Kip Couch made a trip to Chicago recently, where he had luncheon with Ward, Bill Wallace, Bus Carpenter, Bill Juergens, and Chick. Obermeyer. Kip was on his way to Texas. Some fellows are born with all the luck!
It may be a little early to start planning transportation to Hanover next June, but it may be worth while to start the arrangements. Those of you who plan to drive and have room for others in your car, please communicate with me to that effect. To those who are not driving and who would like to obtain a ride with somebody on a share-the-expense basis, it will be appreciated if you will also communicate your desires to me. This office will then serve as a transportation clearing house, and I will endeavor to get those who have automobiles and extra space together with those who would like to avoid thumbing a ride to Hanover.
Mr. William B. Corrigan has the right idea. In the summer time it is a farm in Vermont. Bathing, fishing, horseback riding, and the best of food for New England tourists. In the winter time, his address is Dou bleday, Doran Bookshop, Miami Beach, Fla. That arrangement speaks for itself.
Marshall W. Brown Jr. is with the Combustion Engineering Cos. in Decatur, 111.
Jack Myers is a prosperous realtor of Camden, N. J., residence address, 5025 Westwood Lane, Fairway Terrace, Pennsauken, N. J.
Randolph C. Downes is professor of social science at Harwick College, Oneonta, N. Y.

Robert Leroy Height is taking care of the Texas Company at New Brunswick, N. J. in the capacity of consignee agent.
Cedric W. Swett encourages and promotes the use of Chevrolet motor cars in Portland, Me.
Under the title of circulation promotion manager for the McCall Corporation at 230 Park Ave., New York City, is found the name of Francis N. Merriam Jr.
In Los Angeles, it seems that they are erecting an aqueduct. Of this enterprise, the construction superintendent is Edgar D. Hoag.
