Speakers at the Dartmouth Night celebration in Hanover on March 3 will include President Hopkins, Ben Ames Williams 'lO, Judge James R. Erwin 'l2, and Robert E. Archibald '3B, president of Palaeopitus. Dean Emeritus Laycock, who was present at the first Dartmouth Night in 1895, will perform one of the traditional rites of the evening, that of reading the telegrams and cables sent to the College by alumni groups meeting throughout the world. The Dartmouth Band and the Glee Club will also participate in the program which is under the direction of Palaeopitus.
Special speakers at other Dartmouth Night gatherings will include William A. Eddy '34h, former English professor at Dartmouth and now president of Hobart College, who will speak at Rochester, N. Y.; Robert P. Fuller '37, director of athletic publicity for the College, who will speak at the Northern New Jersey meeting at Montclair; and Robert W. Gibson '39, center on the varsity football team, who will speak at Lowell, Mass. Fuller and Gibson will show movies of the past football season, a threereel composite recently completed by Dartmouth College Films.
