To ALL DARTMOUTH men in the Rochester territory—and elsewhere—. We are happy to tell you that your Alumni Association is a going institution that can hold its own with any of our larger groups.
So far this season, we have had six official gatherings including football broadcasts, evening meetings and luncheons. A progressive increase in average attendance signifies a widening of interest in our Dartmouth relations. Why not say "Yes" to your next communication?
The Interviewing Committee, consisting of Sid Backus '11, Wes Beattie '33 and Tubber Weymouth '26, has been busy interviewing six applicants for the Class of '42. Stark Taylor, son of Zack 'lB, is one of the front runners.
A renewal of weekly luncheons has met with increasing favor. Such regulars as Irv Hutchins '2O, Harlan Miller '24, Lee Sturman '3O, Hank Gorsline '3l, Ern Turner '33, Phil Whitbeck '33 and Chuck Gillan '35 have formed a fine nucleus. We were especially glad to see Eric Barbour 'l6 of Lyons, at the last session. We meet every Friday at the Powers Hotel. Why not plan your Rochester calls for Friday, and join us at noon? The invitation also goes for all you travelers who may have business in this one of the key cities on the Water Level Route.
Monty Phillips '27 and his committee have plans well under way for Dartmouth Night, March 3d. Ere you read this we hope you all will have seen and heard our No. 1 Headliner, Bill Eddy, A.M. '34, and will have enjoyed the other features that make Dartmouth Night such an inspiring occasion for all Hanoverians.
