GEORGE F. HETFIELD '31 led his plainsmen from Scotch Plains, Westfield, Plainfield, and North Plainfield over Watchung Mountain on Dartmouth Night to see what those Hill-Billies of the Northern New Jersey Club were doing. We wanted to go to Nick Robert's Barn and swing in the Flying Trapeze; but no! they took us over to the Montclair Athletic Club .... carpets, lounge chairs and all-around luxury. Their men had no hair on their chest nor on their heads. They served little bits of beers; but myriads of them . . . . and the chicken salad sandwiches were delicious. We expect that crowd has a Ladies Auxiliary.
Aw! .... they did all right; but we want them down for one of our Bull Shoots. We'll have gals out; but the dancing will be at a Country Club two miles away. A great Dartmouth Night—nevertheless.
