A bonanza—five classmates responded to their birthday cards. Ted and Dorothy Selig enjoy their health and home in Lititz, Pa., and have a positive outlook on life. Lee Gore plays golf in a senior league weekly at Ogdensburg, N.Y., when not caring for Dottie's health needs, which prevent their going south in winter. Tom Gillespie sent his annual birthday response from Connecticut, where he keeps in touch with Frank and Evelyn Strong in nearby Woodbury. The Strongs spent March in Florida.
Dick Swartzbaugh retired from, his legal practice last year but keeps an office. He has been married to Jane for 55 years. They have homes in Toledo and northern Michigan to share with four children and six grandchildren.
Kroggie Krogstad writes from Tyler, Texas, that tire azaleas, dogwood, and spring flowers were lovely after a cool, wet winter.
News from our widows is both good and bad. Ruth Baker wrote that she heard from Jean Braman that Roger had died in January after a long illness. Betty Cusack, widow of our former class president, Bill Cusack, died in Pordand, Maine, also in January.
The good news is that Peg Funkhouser is back in Hanover and living at The Greens, a retirement home on the Lyme Road. She sold her home on Dana Road and is making good recovery from her recent illness with help from her doctors at DHMC.
Bob Long would like to hear from any classmates interested in attending the first home football game with Penn, September 18.
