Hanover Holiday
More than 40 alumni and others have signed up for the Hanover Holiday series of lectures, June 20 to 25, it was disclosed by Prof. Herbert W. Hill, chairman of the alumni college, late in May. The second annual series of lectures by popular members of the Dartmouth faculty will be held during the week after Commencement and will cover timely subjects in a variety of fields.
Lecturers for the series include Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles 'O2, trustee of the College and eminent psychiatrist; Prof. Frank M. Anderson, Prof. John M. Mecklin, Prof. Gordon Ferrie Hull, Dean E. Gordon Bill, Prof. Gordon H. Gliddon, Prof. Lewis D. Stilwell, Prof. Hugh L. Elsbree, Prof. J. Milton McDaniel, and Prof. Herbert F. West '22. A "School Is Over" party, with films and dancing will be held at the Hanover Inn on Saturday night of the Hanover Holiday week.
A tuition fee of $5.00 has been set for the full series of ten lectures. The Hanover Inn has set a special scale of prices for those attending the Alumni College, and has also made arrangements for a play school for children.
