Mrs. John French has been elected for a second year as president of the National Board of the Y. W. C. A. It is reported that 3,000,000 women and girls took part in the activities of the 186 local branches last year, and that their capital indebtedness was reduced by about $3,500,000. '86 is proud.
Biff and Lilian Kelly called up the Secretary on their way north from Florida to Vermont. They expect to be in Hanover for Commencement and hope to see a few '86 men. Even a few can have a real reunion.
The class of Rev. Philip Rose '09, son of Rose '86, has its 30th year reunion. There ought to be father and son pow-wows.
The Secretary wishes to add a grateful word to the beautiful tribute to Houston '84, in the May MAGAZINE. AS one of the most intimate friends of Thurston '84, Jim Houston has always been like a father and brother combined to Thurston '86.
Secretary, 215 Walnut St., Montclair, N. J.
