Lougee, W. W— Cheerful as usual, eyesight nearly normal, has enjoyed his months of quiet recouping under the expert attention of Mrs. Lougee, surrounded by her beautiful shrubs and flowers. Doc used to wonder why his wife gave so much of her time, study and work to that usually neglected part of our homes. He now knows it was in anticipation of a need for just such a balm.

The Secretary reports that the high spot of his long season in Maine was that moment when three perfectly good 'B7 men dropped in. To be specific they were Hadlock, Junkins and Rice. I am sure we all accept this honor with as much composure as possible.
