The fraternities started off the season with real spirit by turning out some surprisingly efficient touch football teams. The Betas seem to have a "prize-winner" with most of the varsity basketball team. The manner in which they handle the ball makes for enjoyable onlooking and has its efficient results. The Phi Gams also are winning steadily. The finals are fast approaching and probably will have taken place by the time this article is printed.

In golf the Psi U's and the S. A. E.'s have reached the finals—playing quite respectable golf.

The fraternity doubles tennis tournament was run off efficiently with the D. T. D.'s and the Phi Delt's reaching the finals. The final match resulted in a magnificant display of tennis with the D. T. D.'s winning.

The individual skills tournament will soon begin and also the annual heelers' competition for the department will start within the next two weeks.

The Department is looking forward to one of its most progressive and successful years, if we can materialize some of our new ideals.
