Alumni Day

PLANS FOR THIS year's Commencement weekend from Friday, June 14, through Sunday, June 16, again call for the designation of Saturday as Alumni Day. Features of the second day's program include the Alumni Parade from the campus to the gym Saturday morning; the annual meeting of the General Alumni Association, presided over this year by Ben Ames Williams '10; the outdoor buffet luncheon for alumni, faculty, seniors and their fathers; and the traditional Commencement baseball game in the afternoon.

The graduation exercises for the second successive year will be held Sunday evening at 6 in the outdoor amphitheatre of the Bema. The change from Monday morning to Sunday evening was made last year to shorten the week-end for guests and to enable more alumni to attend the final exercises. Class Day will be held on Friday, June 14, with the reception by President and Mrs. Hopkins and the Commencement Ball scheduled for the evening of the same day.

The class of honor among reuning alumni this year will be 1890, the Fifty Year Class. Other classes holding reunions are 1895, 1900, 1905, 1910, 1915, 1920, 1925,1930, and 1935.
