Conrad E. Snow 'l2, Rochester, N. H., attorney, went to Washington late in November to receive a commission as lieutenant colonel. He will be in charge of contracts for the War Department.

This is Snow's second service in the War Department. Back in 1917 he was commissioned as a first lieutenant in the Ordnance Reserve Corps. After five months he succeeded in getting transferred into the field artillery and served as aidedecamp to Brig. Gen. Edwin B. Bartlett. He was discharged as a captain in April 1919, having spent over a year and a half with the A. E. F. in France.
