December 1941

The Christmas holidays will find the hockey and basketball teams roving westward. The hockey team, leaving Hanover on December 16th, is scheduled to reach Colorado Springs on the 18th. On the 19th and 20th they will meet Colorado College's sextet at the Broadmoor arena (an up-hill battle). In Chicago, on December 21st and 22nd, the Green faces the Illini at the Chicago Arena, following which these two teams will play again at Champaign on the 23rd. The team will remain there until the 27th, and on the 30th will meet with Colgate at Buffalo, N. Y. From there the boys will go on to Milwaukee, where they will witness the basketball game between Dartmouth and Wisconsin. New Year's Day will find the hockey team in Minneapolis awaiting clashes with the University of Minnesota on January 2nd and 3rd.

The basketball team will convene at Milwaukee on December 26th, playing against Wisconsin on the 31st, as part of a doubleheader. On New Year's Day the boys meet the University of Toledo at Toledo, Ohio, journeying to South Orange, N. J., soon after to play Seton Hall on January 3rd.
