The Boston Alumni Dinner was a very successful affair as usual. President Hopkins brought some very interesting thoughts and the other speakers were well worth listening to. Tuss McLaughry must have been pleased at his reception—at least he said he was. John F. McDonald and the secretary represented '90 and John Abbott '91, Dr. Bill Emerson and Charlie Lamprey '92 sat at our table. Our guest, Mr. Arthur Saul, my next-door neighbor, seemed to enjoy meeting many old-time friends. He used to referee football games at Hanover years ago, when Hoppy was football manager, and his son just naturally went to Dartmouth, where he is now a Freshman The Saffords have gone to Florida again.... '90 sympathizes with President Hopkins in his recent loss
