A Class letter has carried to you all the news of Coon's death on January 18. It was not possible for any '92 man to attend the services which were held in Morristown. We did, however, send flowers and have received a most appreciative note from Coon's executor.

You will be sorry to hear that last October Mrs. Bliss fell from the second story to the first story of her home in Calais, Vt., and suffered internal injuries which kept her under a nurse's care for six weeks. She is now with Don in Biloxi but has to avoid any decided exertion. Don writes that he has sold his house in Calais so I suppose the Biloxi house is now "home."

This morning brings a cheery letter from Harry Coombs who says:

"I am always glad to hear of the experiences of other members of the Class and it seems proper to act upon your suggestion and give an account of myself."

(The Secretary heartily agrees and wishes other classmates would follow Coombs' good example.) "Soon after retiring from the ministry in 1935 we began to look around to find a suitable home near our children and the communities we had served where we had many friends. We found such a place in the little village of Jonesville, N. Y., which is but a short distance from Saratoga Springs and Schenectady.

"I have a large lawn with shrubbery and flowers to attend to, a large garden, fruit trees, vines and berries, besides a place to care for chickens. This occupies very pleas- antly a good portion of my time. I occa- sionally supply neighboring churches, con- duct funerals and speak at local gatherings. "We are keenly interested in every phase of national and world activities especially since our older son, a Captain of Field Artillery, is in training at Camp Dix.

"I am deeply interested in the old College and, of course, our Class; and we are looking forward to the 50th reunion with pleasant anticipations. Mrs. Coombs and I are in pretty good health, are enjoying our surroundings, and facing the future with serenity and contentment."
