William G. Morton '28 was presented with the Distinguished Civic Service Award of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Syracuse, New York, at the annual founders' day banquet in the Hotel Syracuse on January 22. Among the speakers at the banquet were W. J. Cameron of the Ford Motor Co., and Mayor Marvin of Syracuse.

In presenting the key, the chairman recited the following activities into which Morton has entered:

"He has been active as a community chest worker from 1937 to 1940 and last year as chairman of the division soliciting from nurses, hospitals, dentists and doctors, and greatly exceeded the quota.

"He is a member of the board of the Syracuse Free Dispensary, a director of the Syracuse General Hospital, a past president of the Dartmouth Club of Central New York, and a former member of the board of directors of the University Club.

"He attended Fulton (N. Y.) high school, Dartmouth College, and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. He is treasurer of the Onondaga County Savings Bank."
