THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of Long Island is very proud of our gathering at our recent Smoker. Over seventy-five alumni and friends attended, along with many of their sons of college age. Ten future Dartmouth men were our guests, boys of the neighboring high schools. The Cornell- Dartmouth moving picture was shown. Many of the more recent graduates have been attending lately, and this is encouraging, for it shows we are growing, and we hope they will come out in greater numbers in the future. The following men have been formed into a junior executive committee, in order to get out the younger graduates: Bleecker T. Ripsom '37, Sidney Hogerton '38, D. W. Leake '40, and Robert McWilliam '41.

Our coming Sports Day, on June 5th at the Hempstead Country Club, should be quite a day for the Long Island Alumni. At this time we hope to give them a full day of golf, tennis, horseshoe pitching or soft ball. Their choice of any of these may be made for the small sum of four dollars, with a meal included. For those less athletic, who would rather come and sit, cheer and eat, the tax will be but two dollars. Ed Warnke and Link Miller are in charge of this sports program. Please keep June 5th open for a real get-together.
