JUNE STH WILL BE a big day for Dartmouth Alumni on Long Island. That is the day we will gather at the Hempstead Golf Club for our annual day of sports. We have challenged the neighboring alumni clubs of New Jersey and Westchester to try our brand of golf, tennis or even horse-shoe pitching. We are waiting to fight, them for prizes. This will be the final gathering of the Club for the year and we are hoping for a record breaking turnout of the entire Club.

We are sorry to report that "Hooker" Horton has been on crutches for the past few weeks due to a pulled tendon in his leg. The cast came off today so he will be all right soon. Tracy Higgins had a similar experience while skiing up Hanover way. He will be among us soon again. Dr. Fred Kortluke '27 is about to leave his practice to become a Lt. Commander in the U. S. Navy. (Doane Arnold please take note for '27 class news.)

The last few executive committee meetings of our club have brought out the musical talents of John Shaw, Carll Buhler, Rudy Preuss, Ed Warnke, and our president Harry Collins. They really are good, and if anyone misses a meeting from now on they have only themselves to blame. This string quartet is really hot.

Don't anyone forget to be present at the Hempstead Golf Club on June sth. Due to our last few affairs we were able to help the Alumni Fund. Come help us send more along!
