THE ANNUAL SPRING meeting and dinner of the Southeastern Florida Association was held at the Trade Winds Hotel on the beach at Fort Lauderdale on March 19th. The following Alumni enjoyed a fine steak dinner: Fleming '26, Seaber '29, Beebe '28, Bunting '34, Clay '19, Garnsey '20, Pelton '93, Proctor '24, Corrigan '23, Sporborg '09, Caproni '11, Teague '00, Bassett '21, Burnap '94, Locke '12, Griswold '08, Eaton '93, Judd '36, Harwood '15, Loehr '12, Valier '34, Van Denburg '38, Clark '11, Boughton '28, Claggett '94, Davidson '13, Sanderson '11, Valier '37 and Wescott '14. This was by far the best-attended and most successful meeting since the Association was organized, there being a total of thirty-three men present.

Bill Corrigan '23 presided over the busi ness meeting following the dinner. Favorable comments were received concerning the new Membership List compiled by the Secretary and sent out to the members thereon since the last meeting. The report of the nominating committee by Irving Beebe '28 resulted in the unanimous election of the following officers for the next year: George Loehr '20, president; Arthur Sporborg '09, Ist vice president; Herbert Clark '11, 2nd vice president; Don Bunting '34, secretary-treasurer. After some discussion it was next decided to appoint a Schools Committee to aid prospective Dartmouth students from this area. Bob Burnap '94 will be chairman.

A showing of the new sound film, FifthDown, was most favorably received after which the meeting was adjourned.
