Recently the Secretary has been fortunate in meeting three classmates, Bartlett, Miner and Reynolds. Ralph and I had dinner together April 9, and later listened to Admiral Byrd speak of his trips to the Antarctic. He also showed many motion pictures On April 30, George Miner was in Boston on a business trip and took time out to call on me. His legal address is still in Brooklyn, with his son, Theodore, but he is spending much time in Ridgewood, N. J., near his two older sons On May 3, while visiting in Hartford (Conn.) I had a pleasant evening with Reynolds. He still carries his full duties as Engineer of the Hartford Electric Light Go., with which he has been associated for 25 years. He told me that he plans to retire next year. Meanwhile he is watching closely the returns for the Alumni Fund, and seems confident that 'B9 will come through with flying colors, as in previous years. If by chance any one has delayed his contribution, let this remind him that promptness is important and that the Commencement date this year is June 15. (Late gifts will be received—up to November—but why be late?) .... Harry Frost is just back from his winter in Florida, but I have not yet seen him—not even by telephone!

Besides the personal meetings, letters have come from Davis, Wellman and Wheat. "E. B." plans to be in Hanover for our informal reunion, June 14 & 15, and to stay a few weeks for study and research in the Baker Library Trustee Wellman, of New Hampshire University, feels that its Commencement, which comes at the same time as Dartmouth's has "first call" this year Wheat will be very busy with Court duties until late in June, so we shall not see him in Hanover We are not giving much publicity to our interim reunion but, for those of us who can come, it will be a memorable occasion.
