Strawberry Festival
June 1941

The 1936 Business and News Boards of The Dartmouth will meet in a traditional titanic softball game on Saturday, June 21, at 3 P.M. on the famous Storrs Pond Marshy Diamond. This glorious spectacle will highlight what promises to be one of the most luscious strawberry festivals in the history of that ancient sheet. All visiting firemen from the 1934, 1935 and 1937 Boards are hereby invited to be present and active—as long as the beer holds out.

The usual nom de plume rules will prevail. Time will be called upon petition of any two players or the umpire, for good cause shown. For the first time within the memory of living

Presing man, the Business Board is a pregame favorite. Well informed sources ascribe this to the fact that the News Board will not be in a position to write up the game.

The umpire will be named three minutes before hostilities commence.
