Now IN ITS FORTY-SECOND thriving year, The University Club of Randolph (Pop. 3,166) was founded by fourteen men, of whom five were graduates of Dartmouth: Clarence F. Moulton '63, Victor I. Spear '74, Edward W. Tewksbury '91, Harry C. Allen '92 and John P. Gifford '94. Since its beginning, the club has had sixty members, graduates of twenty-seven institutions, and Dartmouth is represented by more members than any other institution. Besides those named they are: Nelson Whitehill '83, H. Lee Hatch '84, Charles Morrill '88, Fred E. Prichard '91, Ernest G. Ham '94, Sherman R. Moulton '98, Leon W. Webster '04, Robert Chedel '08, Wilmer W. Angell '23 and K. W. Webster '35. For 26 years, Mr. Tewksbury has been secretary.

During its history, there have been over 650 dinners and meetings—at least once a month—at which an equal number of papers have been read and discussed.

Aside from being interesting as a community which supports an organization which might fail of support in many larger places, Randolph is interesting to Dartmouth as the home of a total of 101 graduates of the college.
