20,582 Alumni

A RECENT SURVEY REVEALS that, as of July i, the living alumni of Dartmouth total 20,582. Headed by Zeeb Gilman '63, oldest member of the group, the living graduates number 13,646, while living nongraduates total 6,i 60.

Of the associated schools, the Medical School tops the list with 317 alumni whose undergraduate work was done elsewhere. Tuck is second with 57, and Thayer has 25. There are 313 holders of special degrees living. Of these, 59 have advanced degrees; 148 hold honorary degrees; and 106 are faculty members granted honorary degrees in privatim. Sixty-four special students complete the roster.
